Scholarships
The following Northwest colleges and universities are offering scholarships to defined members of the top three winning teams in the High School Science Bowl.
Highlights of their offers are included in the list below. Detailed scholarship offers will be sent to qualifying members of the winning teams from these participating colleges and universities following the competition on February 6th.
- Evergreen State College: One-time $2,000 scholarship for all winning team members.
- Gonzaga University: One-time scholarship for the seniors of $3,000 for the 1st-place team, $2,000 for the 2nd-place team, and $1,000 for the 3rd-place team.
- Pacific University: $2,000 annual scholarship renewable for four years for all winning team members.
- Seattle Pacific University: $2,000 annual scholarship renewable for four years for all winning team members.
- Seattle University: $1,500 annual scholarship renewable for four years for all winning team members.
- University of Oregon: One-time $1,000 scholarship for the seniors on all winning teams.
- University of Portland: One-time $1,500 scholarship for all winning team members.
- University of Puget Sound: $1,500 annual scholarship renewable for four years for all winning team members.
- Washington State University: One-time $1,000 scholarship for all winning team members.
- Western Oregon University: One-time $2,000 scholarship for the seniors on all winning teams.
- Whitman College: One-time $1,000 scholarship for all winning team members.
While the Bonneville Power Administration does not endorse any college or university, we would nevertheless like to express our appreciation to these schools for their support of the High School Science Bowl through these scholarship offers.
