The teaching materials below are free for teachers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana from the Bonneville Power Administration. The NPSC kit is loaned out for a semester at a time. We only ask that you return it (your only expense being the return postage) when you have finished with it so others can check it out. Northwest Power System curriculum (NPSC)
This kit for up to 32 students includes a teacher's guide (13 lessons and The Power Game), video tapes, experiment supplies, Power Game cards and maps, and background materials. Kit box measures approximately 24" x 16" x 5" and weighs over 20 lbs.

The Power Game
This game from the kit above is available separately for teachers who used the 13 NPSC lessons over the web. This set includes game boards and power resource cards in color (for up to 32 students) - everything needed for this exciting role playing game which thoroughly explores all the issues of power generation. The Power Board Game
This is modified version of The Power Game has a more traditional format - dice determine sequence of play and there is a logical end. This kit includes the board game map, money, recording sheet, resource cards and Pass Cards (you will not need the pass cards for this, advanced version of the game).
