Wind

Wind power projects can be hooked to the grid in a relatively short time (compared to the time to build a dam), offer power that is competitively priced with other sources such as combustion turbines, are relatively easy to site and expand, have low environmental impacts (including no carbon emissions), and they are infinitely renewable. The drawback is the need for winds.
