Residential products promotion


To ensure energy savings goals are met now and in the future, BPA is offering the Simple Steps, Smart Savings™ promotion. This promotion offers residential opportunities in CFLs, light fixtures, showerheads and other measures through a variety of channels including retail markdown, builder channel promotions, direct mail and direct installation.

BPA contracted with Fluid Market Strategies to develop the Simple Steps, Smart Savings™ promotion, which has been active since April 1, 2010. Fluid provides retail and builder channel coordination to replace the previous Change-a-Light model. Fluid also offers a menu of direct installation opportunities as part of the Simple Steps, Smart Savings™ promotion, including:

  • Full-service direct install model
  • Training and infrastructure support
  • Bulk purchase of CFLs, showerheads and more
