Efficiency Exchange, the first collaborative conference between BPA and NEEA, has just come to a close and we hope you took away new ideas and fresh inspiration to support your utility’s energy efficiency efforts. For those of you who were not able to attend the conference or if there was a session you felt more staff should see, all of the general sessions and many of the breakout sessions were rerecorded and will be posted online in the coming days. The conversations we started at the conference will also continue on Conduit, so if you have questions or new thoughts about the sessions you attended log in and keep the discussion going.

Please join the Washington State University Energy Program on Wednesday, May 22 at 12:00 pm (Pacific Time) for an hour-long webinar on Low Energy Precision Application (LEPA), as part of the "Emerging Technologies Showcase" series.

LEPA is a low-water, low-pressure irrigation method applicable for row crops that can reduce energy and water use. Dr. Troy Peters, WSU Extension Irrigation Specialist, and Dick Stroh, BPA engineer, will discuss the technology, case studies from around the country, and the BPA-funded LEPA demonstration project in the Pacific Northwest region. A question and answer session follows the presentations.
