Residential Weatherization
| Weatherization measures continue to be a mainstay for many utilities’ energy efficiency program portfolios. BPA offers reimbursement to utilities for weatherization, including attic, floor and wall insulation, high efficiency windows and whole house air sealing.
In August 2011, the Regional Technical Forum approved an updated Residential Weatherization specification for the Northwest. Throughout 2012, BPA will be engaging utility customers to discuss these updated specifications to identify barriers to weatherization and opportunities for new delivery models that emphasize simplicity, improved training and tools, higher participation levels and increased energy savings.

Sub-Regional Meetings
During the month of June 2012, the BPA Residential team is convening sub-regional meetings for the purpose of capturing utility feedback on the 2011 Updated Residential Weatherization specifications. In September, BPA will present a summary of findings to the region and provide an update on next steps via a BPA Energy Efficiency Brown Bag presentation. .
