Waq'lisi (Hello). My name is Nathan Dexter. I joined Bonneville Power Administration in the Tribal Affairs department in
2007. I am a Klamath-Modoc Tribal descendant and graduate of Lewis & Clark College and the University of Colorado
School of Law. Before coming to BPA, I lived and practiced Indian Law in Boulder, CO, Portland, OR and as an in-house
tribal attorney on the Oregon Coast. Experience has taught me to value the importance of respect, relationships, and
lifelong learning. I apply these lessons to my interactions with tribes daily while working at BPA and enjoy the ongoing
opportunities to build and foster positive and respectful working relationships toward the advancement of tribal sovereignty,
treaty rights, economic self-sufficiency, and healthy and sustainable environmental and cultural stewardship.
