ColumbiaGrid / Integration
- Columbia Grid Functional Agreement
(Dec. 2, 2006)
The comments, linked here, were submitted in response to the open comment period described below:
The Bonneville Power Administration has been working with a number
of utilities to create a new independent entity in the Northwest to
improve the operational efficiency, reliability, and planned expansion
of the Northwest transmission grid. This entity - ColumbiaGrid - is
preparing to offer a Functional Agreement for one part of that vision,
which is a regional approach to transmission capacity planning and expansion.
BPA is seeking public comments on the value to BPA and the region of
its participation in this proposal.
BPA's Decision to Sign and
Support ColumbiaGrid Planning and Expansion Functional Agreement
was signed by Administrator Stephen J. Wright on Feb. 21, 2007 and issued
on March 5, 2007.
