The Regional Science Bowl is an academic tournament that challenges students knowledge of math and science in a fast-paced quiz competition between teams of students every year at the University of Portland, in Portland, Oregon. The tournament is run in a round-robin style during the morning with the high scoring teams advancing to a double-elimination game in the afternoon. To win, a team must work together to quickly and accurately answer toss-up and bonus questions while following rules of play.
The competition is open to all Oregon and SW Washington high school and middle schools. Home schools and/or youth clubs are also welcome.
Coaches: Registration for the 2010 event begins Oct. 1, 2009. Please submit the Intent to Compete form. Instructions for online registration will follow.
