Getting Involved in the EIS
There are several ways to participate in the I-5 Corridor Reinforcement Project public involvement process.
Provide information or comments
BPA is still accepting comments on the project even though the scoping comment period is closed. You can submit comments online, or by mail, phone or fax.
Attend public meetings
BPA will host four public meetings in August and September for interested members of the public to learn about the project, provide comments or input and ask questions of BPA representatives. The meetings will begin and end with an open house during which you can talk directly with us. At the first two evening meetings, BPA will give a brief presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. and take questions afterward. On Wednesday, Sept. 8, the meeting will begin at 5 p.m. and BPA will give a presentation at 6:30 p.m.
On Sunday, September 12, BPA will give presentations at 1 and 4 p.m. and take questions afterward.

Future public involvement opportunities
BPA will host public meetings if we make changes to the proposed project or have other important developments to report. If you want to be notified, please join our mailing list.
BPA will host public meetings after the draft EIS is released in 2011 to provide information and collect comments on the draft EIS.
Comments will be accepted at the public meetings, and by mail, phone, e-comment and fax during the public comment period.
Previous public involvement opportunities
BPA held public scoping meetings for the I-5 Corridor Reinforcement Project EIS in Washington and Oregon in October and November 2009. Meeting summaries with information about the comments BPA received at each meeting are available.
BPA has attended numerous meetings upon request from citizen groups, neighborhoods and other people interested in the project. A BPA representative presents an overview of the project, answers questions and takes feedback from the public.
