BPA's Service to Port Townsend Paper, a non-aluminum DSI
The following comments were submitted in response to the open comment period described below.
On Nov. 28, Paul Norman signed a letter to customers, constituents, Tribes and other regional stakeholders announcing additional opportunities for public input on BPA's Draft Prototype contract for service to BPA's Direct Service Industry Customers for fiscal years 2007-2011. BPA, Port Townsend Paper and Clallam PUD have developed two draft contract approaches, a two party approach and a three party approach, to providing service to Port Townsend Paper 2007 through 2011. Drafts of these two approaches are now available for public comment. BPA encourages your written comments regarding these draft contracts, including the decision to maintain the benefit levels established in BPA's June 30, 2005, Record of Decision regarding service to its DSI customers. The ROD established that BPA would provide Port Townsend Paper 17 aMws of power during FY 2007-2011. For a copy of the Nov. 28 letter or the Draft Prototype Contract visit:
