Proposed Southern California Edison Settlement Agreement



The following comments were submitted in response to the open comment period described below.

    On June 7, 2006, BPA announced a proposed settlement agreement with Southern California Edison. The proposed agreement is to settle two longstanding lawsuits filed by SCE against BPA in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims regarding a 1988 power sales and exchange contract. On June 15, Administrator Stephen J. Wright, issued a letter to the region announcing a 30-day public comment period on this proposed settlement. Comments will be accepted through July 15, 2006.
