Klondike III/Biglow Canyon Wind Integration Project Draft EIS



The following comments were submitted in response to the open comment period described below.

    Klondike III Wind Project LLC and Orion Energy LLC have submitted generation interconnection requests to integrate up to 300 megawatts (MW) of power generated by the Klondike III Wind Project in Sherman County, Ore. and up to 400 MW of power generated by the Biglow Canyon Wind Farm Project in Sherman County, Ore. to the Federal Columbia River Transmission System.

    BPA is evaluating the impacts of these interconnections in a combined Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The draft EIS is now available for public review and comment through June 19, 2006. A public meeting will be held in Wasco, Ore. on May 24.
