Klondike III/Biglow Canyon Wind Interconnection Project

The following comments were submitted in response to the open comment period described below. The comment period closed Jan. 15, 2006.

Bonneville Power Administration has expanded the scope of the former Klondike III Wind Interconnection Project to include the proposed Biglow Canyon Wind Interconnection Project in Sherman County, Ore. The name of the project has changed to Klondike III/Biglow Canyon Wind Integration Project. The draft EIS will evaluate potential impacts of both proposed projects and should be available for public review in spring 2006. If BPA decides to interconnect the wind projects, construction on the proposed BPA transmission line and BPA substation could begin in early 2007.
