2007 Wholesale Power Rate Case

Background
On July 17, 2006, the Administrator of the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) signed the Final Record of Decision (Final ROD) concluding the 2007 Wholesale Power Rate Adjustment Proceeding (WP-07) that established BPA's power rates for FY 2007-2009. This section 7(i) ratemaking process began in November with the publication of a Federal Register Notice on November 8, 2005, and BPA's Initial Proposal on November 21, 2005.

The Final ROD also includes BPA's General Rate Schedule Provisions (GRSPs) that will govern power rates for FY 2007-2009. Electronic copies of the Final ROD, GRSPs, and supporting Studies and Documentation can be accessed on BPA's Final Proposal page.

BPA filed the record of the WP-07 rate proceeding with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on September 28, 2006, and received interim approval of the WP-07 rates on September 21, 2006. Assuming BPA receives final approval from FERC, these rates will be in effect from October 1, 2006, through September 30, 2009 (FY 2007-2009).
