BPA - Sponsored E Source Membership
Beginning August 1, 2009, BPA is sponsoring a one year membership to E Source for its public utility and federal (Northwest facilities) customers. The membership will provide access to the E Source Technology Assessment Service (TAS) and the Efficiency and Demand Response Program Service (EDRPS). Any new public power entity and federal (Northwest facilities) that become BPA customers during the sponsorship period will be added to the sponsorship agreement. The agreement will be evaluated throughout the year to determine if the sponsorship will be renewed.
BPA Energy Efficiency Representatives will send eligible customers a log-in for their utility. Staff members at each utility can use their company's unique log-in information to create individual user accounts.
E Source Efficiency & Demand-Response Programs Service (EDRP)
With EDRP, utilities can discover ways to make energy-efficiency and demand-response programs more cost-effective. Through research reports, Web conferences and other resources, E Source can help utilities:
- Identify attributes of successful programs and provide implementation information
- Use innovative delivery channels to serve hard-to-reach customer groups
- Develop the right mix of program elements to drive participation
- Create an appropriate portfolio of programs to meet utility goals

the E Source EDRP service.
E Source Technology Assessment Service (TAS)
With TAS, utilities will get objective analysis of energy-consuming products and services. Through research reports, Web conferences and other resources, E Source can help utilities:
- Identify new ways to expand demand-side management (DSM), revenue and load-growth programs
- Be fully prepared when customers call asking for advice on improving their operations
- Save time-E Source sifts through all the technical information on new technologies for you
- Eliminate confusion about the proper application of certain technologies
