Energy Smart Grocer and Energy Smart Industrial Contract Extension -

The Energy Smart Industrial Energy Management components are still in pilot status and a continuation of the contract provides continuity of service to utilities and the opportunity to complete the pilots. A recent market opportunity assessment of the grocery refrigeration market targeted by EnergySmart Grocer demonstrated that there is ample savings opportunity remaining in the grocery market. The survey associated with that research also showed that there is a high level of satisfaction with the program and an interest in continuing to offer it to customers. BPA will continue to provide updates and additional information on the programs through the Implementation Manual.
