Multifamily Prime Window and Patio Door Replacement information added to the Implementation Manual -
In the April 1, 2013 version of the Implementation Manual BPA mistakenly omitted information specifying the documentation requirements and reimbursement for multifamily Prime Window and Patio Door Replacement. BPA has corrected this error. Details can be found on pages 84 and 85 of the revised Implementation Manual.

End of Rate Period EnergySmart Grocer Budget Allocations -
With the end of the rate period approaching, PECI, the implementer of the EnergySmart Grocer (ESG) program, is focused on communicating with enrolled utilities to rightsize their EEI allocations to ESG. Beginning June 15th, PECI will provide notifications to participating utilities with the updated projections for EEI and self funding budget assignments and rebate expenditures. This communication will include the following: budget assigned to ESG, budget spent to-date, EEI funds reserved for pipeline projects, a list of those pending projects, and balance of the EEI unspent and unreserved... More

Enhancements to the Bilateral Transfer Request and Attestation form -
BPA has recently revised the Bilateral Transfer Request and Attestation form to offer an option to customers returning EEI funds across adjacent rate periods. Upon agreement by the Source Utility and the Recipient Utility, BPA will accept, hold and process bilateral transfer requests on a future effective date, granted that effective date is no more than two years from the initial date of request. The revised form is available in the documents library. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your Energy Efficiency Representative.

Energy Smart Grocer and Energy Smart Industrial Contract Extension -
BPA plans to extend its contracts for the Energy Smart Industrial and Energy Smart Grocer programs through FY2014-2015. Extending the contracts will provide stability to these two successful utility programs and minimize program changes for utilities in 2014-2015. The Energy Smart Industrial Energy Management components are still in pilot status and a continuation of the contract provides continuity of service to utilities and the opportunity to complete the pilots. A recent market opportunity assessment of the grocery refrigeration market targeted by EnergySmart Grocer demonstrated that there is ample savings opportunity remaining in the grocery market. The survey associated with that research also showed that there is a high level of satisfaction with the program and an interest in continuing to offer it to customers. BPA will continue to provide updates and additional information on the programs through the Implementation Manual.
