Residential sector and the Sixth Power Plan


The BPA residential sector team is working with utility customers to reach their energy efficiency targets based on Sixth Power Plan pre-draft supply curves.

The residential sector team is engaged with utilities and regional stakeholders to include the following:
  • Continued support for specialty Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFLs) as determined by the final direction of the Northwest Power and Conservation Council's Sixth Power Plan
  • Support for Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance's consumer electronics initiative
  • Improvements to weatherization measures
  • Process improvements to the Performance Tested Comfort System (PTCS) program
  • Continued support for ductless heat pumps
