Claudia Andrews was named executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Bonneville Power Administration in February 2012. In that role, she oversees BPA’s capital and debt management, accounting, cash management and budgeting. She has worked at BPA since 1990.

From 2006 to 2012, Andrews served as BPA’s treasurer, acting chief risk officer and acting chief financial officer. Previously, she held a variety of management and staff positions in the Finance, Power Services and Supply Chain organizations.

Before joining BPA, Claudia served as a presidential management intern at the U. S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.

Andrews graduated summa cum laude with a Master’s in Business Administration from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University in Salem, Ore. She earned  her B.A. from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. She lives with her husband in Damascus, Ore.
