On July 17, 2006, the Administrator of the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA)
signed the Final Record of Decision (Final ROD) concluding the
2007 Wholesale Power Rate Adjustment Proceeding (WP-07) that establishes the
rates for FY 2007-2009. This 7(i) rate setting process began in November
with the publication of the Federal Register Notice on November 8, 2005, and
BPA's Initial Proposal on November 21, 2005. The Final ROD
also includes BPA's General Rate Schedule Provisions (GRSPs) that
will govern rates for FY 2007-2009. Electronic copies of the Final ROD,
GRSPs, and supporting Studies and Documentation can be accessed on
BPA's Final Proposal page.
BPA filed the record of this rate proceeding with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on July 28, 2006, and received interim approval of these rates on September 21, 2006. Assuming BPA receives final approval from FERC, these rates will be in effect from October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2009 (FY 2007-2009).
