BPA prepared a preliminary environmental assessment to review potential impacts of our proposal to rebuild the 47-mile, Walla Walla -Tucannon River 115-kilovolt transmission line located in Walla Walla and Columbia counties, Washington. The project would include replacing wood poles, associated structural components, and conductor, access road improvements, and some vegetation removal. The rebuild would allow BPA to maintain reliable electric service and avoid risks to public and worker safety.
