Proposed Memorandum of Agreement between the Kalispel Tribe and the Action Agencies

The Kalispel Tribe and the three Action Agencies (Bonneville Power Administration, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation) are proposing to enter into a 10-year Memorandum of Agreement similar to the Columbia Basin Fish Accords. Because it involves major funding commitments of ratepayer funds and will intersect with other efforts in the region (such as the Council Program), BPA is providing a 30-day public comment period for stakeholders to review the Agreement before BPA enters into it. Following an assessment of the comments, a Record of Decision would be prepared for the Administrator’s signature. For more information, click on Fish Accords at the Web site listed below.
