BPA’s Palisades-Goshen 115-kilovolt transmission line in southeast Idaho has gradually deteriorated due to exposure to the elements and normal wear and tear. BPA is proposing pole replacements and other upgrades to improve the line’s reliability and accommodate future load growth in the area. BPA completed a preliminary environmental assessment in April 2008 and is accepting public comments on the document through May 9, 2008.
