Given regional infection rates and the recent significant increase in the number of cases and exposures at various BPA locations, BPA is taking the precautionary measure of moving its workforce once more to a maximized telework status effective Aug. 12, at 6 p.m.
All construction and maintenance work that is not directly tied to life safety or reliability of the grid will be suspended to protect the health and safety of our field workforce. This will also enable BPA to further evaluate current conditions and ensure that all necessary protective measures are in place prior to reinitiating maintenance and capital construction projects.
All virtual public meetings will continue as scheduled.
BPA will reach out to impacted customers to discuss next steps and updated timelines for their projects.
The health and wellbeing of our workforce is critical to the agency’s mission to deliver power to our customers and maintain the reliable operation of the bulk electric grid.
We will provide updated information as it becomes available.
