Preemption and ROFR for Hourly Service

This is a reminder that BPA is starting the phased implementation of Short-term Preemption and ROFR for hourly service consistent with the TC-24 tariff and v6 of the Preemption of Short-Term Requests and Reservations Business Practice (soon to be renamed Preemption of Short-Term Transmission Service). This implementation will start with enabling Hourly Firm NT vs. Hourly Firm PTP on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.

The remainder of the phased implementation is scheduled to be:

  1. Oct 24: Hourly Firm PTP vs. Hourly Firm PTP
  2. Nov 14: Hourly Non-Firm PTP (2-NH) vs. Hourly Non-Firm PTP (2-NH)
