BPA Transmission Services has recently processed e-Tags where flow MW values on the BPAT physical segment do not match flow MW values on upstream/downstream physical segments. These e-Tags are causing issues for BPA's operations and billing processes. Transmission Services will be implementing a new tagging validation at 3:00 pm PPT on September 28, 2023. The fail Reason will read, "TSAS: BPAT segment POR/POD MW values must match" or “All Segments must have matching POR-MW and POD-MW.” The e-Tag CPSE will need to correct the flow MW in the physical path before BPA will approve the e-Tag. The Scheduling Transmission Service business practice exhibit B will be updated to include this validation with the next BP revision cycle.
