BPA's Energy Efficiency Implementation Manual 2026-2027

BPA's Energy Efficiency Implementation Manual 2026-2027 is now available along with the UES Measure List. The new document includes changes effective Oct.1, 2026, including a new look and a new color for the Commercial sector. Energy conservation account executives (ECAEs) are available to answer questions.

BPA relaunches Trade Ally Network NW Program

BPA is relaunching the Trade Ally Network NW Program effective Thursday Oct. 1, 2026. Evergreen Energy Partners is implementing the program, which focuses on supporting commercial sector lighting and other Unit Energy Savings (UES) measures in the Pacific Northwest. Trade Ally Network NW field specialists will begin reaching out to utilities to schedule account planning sessions for the remainder of the calendar year.

2025 Nonresidential Lighting Sales Data and Distributor Survey Findings Now Available

BPA’s Market Research and Momentum Savings team has released their annual nonresidential lighting sales data and summary report for 2025. The dataset and report are the latest installment of an annual study to gather data from a panel of lighting distributors in the region and is conducted in collaboration with our partners at the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA). The 2025 study found significant market shifts underway in the nonresidential lighting sector in 2025, with LEDs accounting for 80 percent of all unit sales. BPA compiled the survey results into a rich dataset of full-category sales data going back to 2013. The report explores trends in technology sales with robust visuals comparing lighting unit sales across years, along with valuable insights and feedback from distributors surrounding the impact of the Oregon fluorescent ban on both the state and the region as a whole.

Efficiency Exchange 2027: Call for Sessions expires Oct. 23

The annual Efficiency Exchange (EFX) is the Northwest’s premier energy efficiency networking and learning conference. EFX27 will be held at the Wenatchee Convention Center in Wenatchee, Washington, May 18-19, 2027. 

Session submissions are now open: Do you have a topic, speaker, or panel that inspires the region to collaborate and innovate on emerging technologies and best practices? Ideas for session proposals from program successes to emerging technologies, best practices in energy efficiency, and more will be accepted from Sept. 14 - Oct. 23.
