Evaluation Project Update: Spring 2026

BPA provides stakeholders with regular status updates on evaluation projects. The latest update covers progress made on two evaluations launched in 2025 and information about four new studies launched in 2026. BPA just completed an impact evaluation of the non-industrial custom program portfolio and the Energy Smart Reserve Power (ESRP). The Comfort Ready Home (CRH) Process Evaluation will release its final report later in Spring 2026, but this update includes a preview of findings. BPA is undergoing data gathering for the Variable Speed Heat Pumps (VSHP) Deep Dive study, launching two behavioral evaluations, and looking for participants for a Daily Demand Voltage Reduction (DVR) real-time evaluation study.
Evaluation offers valuable information that allows energy efficiency programs the ability to achieve continuous improvement and efficient, cost-effective implementation. Visit BPA's evaluation site to learn more.
