BPA is temporarily waiving the requirement in section J.2.a.i of the TSR Study and Expansion Process business practice that a customer must be supporting the transmission expansion project(s) identified for a parent Transmission Service Request (Parent TSR) in order to submit a follow-on TSR (Follow-on TSR).  All other requirements for a Follow-on TSR will continue to apply:

  • The Parent TSR must qualify for Reservation Priority under Section 2.2 of BPA’s OATT and applicable business practices.
  • The Follow-on TSR must be submitted at least one (1) year prior to the Stop Date of the Parent TSR.
    • BPA will permit the submittal of a Follow-on Redirect TSR after the one (1) year deadline if the Follow-on Redirect TSR is submitted on the same date that the renewed Parent TSR (Renewal TSR) is CONFIRMED on OASIS.
  • The Follow-on TSR parameters and demand must remain the same as the Parent TSR/Renewal TSR.
  • The Parent TSR/Renewal TSR must be noted in the Deal Ref field of the Follow-on TSR.
