Generator Interconnection Phase One Cluster Study Report

BPA has posted the Phase One Cluster Study reports for the Transition Cluster Study of the large generator interconnection requests. BPA performed the Phase One Cluster Study in segments called Cluster Areas and issued a study report for each Cluster Area. BPA will open the 90 Calendar Day Customer Review Period, outlined in Section 6.6 of Attachment L of BPA's tariff on January 31, 2026.

New Generator Interconnection Web Pages

BPA has updated Generator Interconnection web pages BPA's external website. The updates have been made to align the web pages with BPA's current Generator Interconnection process.

Forms that customers need to complete and submit during the Customer Review Period have been posted on the Interconnection Transition Process page.

Cluster Study Report Meetings

From February 9 to 12, 2026, BPA will host a series Cluster Study Report Meetings as outlined in section 6.6 (b) of Attachment L. BPA will hold an overview meeting relevant to all Cluster Areas on Feb. 9, followed by individual meetings to cover the study results for each Cluster Area. While these meetings are open to the public, the purpose is to discuss the study results with Interconnection Customers and provide them with an opportunity to ask questions.
