Emerging Technologies

Since 2009, the BPA Emerging Technologies program has developed energy conservation measures that provide roughly one-third of savings from the Energy Conservation program. In the next 20 years, the need will be greater: the Northwest Power Council estimates that half of the region’s need for conservation will rely on emerging technologies. Get involved by sharing information on new products and services or by helping participate in lab and field tests that simulate performance in the BPA region.
