Risk Mitigation and Financial Policies Refresh

The 2026 Risk Mitigation & Financial Policies Refresh will provide a review of the existing 2022 Financial Plan culminating in a new financial plan which ensures BPA’s long-term financial goals are supported with agile risk mitigation strategy and updated financial policies. The target publication is early 2027. 

2026 Risk Mitigation & Financial Policies Refresh

The plan’s scope contains three sections that build from and support each other:

  1. Repayment methodology (higher of)
  2. Sustainable capital financing policy (leverage goal)
  3. Financial reserves (risk) 

BPA’s Financial Plan is an important companion to BPA’s strategic direction. BPA will revise and update its financial plan periodically, depending upon actual financial performance or material changes in the operating environment.
